The container revolution is under way today as companies seek to move faster and build digital assets to support growth. IDC forecasts that there will be over 1.8 billion enterprise container instances deployed by 2021. Container platforms will be key to managing the ever-expanding diversity of IT environments (multiple operating systems, hypervisors, private clouds, and public clouds).
